ID.Buzz: another electric Volkswagen model is coming

By: Driving.com

Volkswagen has released more images of the ID.Buzz this multipurpose vehicle that will be added to the zero emissions range in a short time.

Little by little Volkswagen begins to populate a purely electric range and the ID.Buzz seems to be no exception.

In this way the multipurpose prepares its arrival for next year with a retro style and inspired by the ID.Buzz Concept and ID.Buzz Cargo Concept prototypes.

Of course, for the creation of these projects and the final vehicle, the legendary VW Transporter T1 has been taken as a basis.

Regarding its bodywork, a square-shaped body is appreciated but with a sloping windshield to offer less resistance.

Its front resembles the ID line with headlights stylized and connected by a bar that makes contact with the central logo.

The rest is camouflaged and only a few design details remain to be revealed, such as the style of its doors and rear sector.

Apparently the Volkswagen ID. Buzz could offer a passenger version and another for moving items. It could also be expected in two body sizes according to needs.

Its mechanics are not yet confirmed, but perhaps one of the powertrains already implemented in its zero emissions brothers will be used.

So I would have installed blocks of 170 CV and 204 CV with a single engine or two 299 CV engines with all-wheel drive.

As long as it would have the batteries of 022 kWh of capacity that would provide greater autonomy than 400 kilometers.

The production of the Volkswagen ID.Buzz would take place at the beginning of 2. 022 in Germany.
