During the next week, the well-known gales of November will do their thing and will be part of a storm that is building north of the Great Plains . It will affect the Midwest and most of the Great Lakes starting Wednesday, according to AccuWeather .
The weather system will cause strong winds, rain, snow and even thunderstorms. This is due to the collision between the cold air from the north of the Great Plains and the warm winds from the south. The result is a low pressure system that will cause the first winter storms of the season .
The storm will also cause strong winds to the south and east of the Great Lakes, by what is not ruled out possible floods in nearby areas , according to AccuWeather .
While Mississippi and the Ohio Valley will experience high temperatures due to southerly winds, the central and northern Great Plains regions could have temperatures as high as 30 ° F at dusk. Even as of Wednesday night, experts predict that the storm will strengthen and leave notable snowfalls in the two Dakotas, Nebraska, Minnesota and Wisconsin and even Ontario .
Meteorologists also estimate that the storm may slow down from Friday in the north of the Great Lakes, causing heavy blizzards in some nearby regions. In addition to the strong winds, rain and snowfall, experts indicate that there will also be other types of dangers in other areas due to the storm.
Central and southern Mississippi could witness multiple thunderstorms beginning Wednesday night through Thursday and then through Ohio starting Friday .
Under ideal conditions, thunderstorms could even cause flash floods, hail and even tornadoes , so meteorologists recommend that residents of those areas be aware of weather updates during the next week.
