In Pijijiapan Chiapas, in southern Mexico, a group of people belonging to the migrant caravan traveling to Mexico City and the United States, clashed with elements of the National Guard .
According to the first reports, the group of migrants who clashed with federal elements, was behind in his advance on a road to Tonalá.
In videos that circulate on social networks, the moment when the migrants confront the uniformed with stones and sticks for several mi minutes until they are repelled.
In another of the videos a element of the National Guard lying on the ground, totally unprotected, already without his shield , and trying to protect himself from the kicks and blows he receives from the migrants.
There were several minutes in which the uniformed man was insulted and beaten until some of the migrants asked their companions to stop attacking him.
The confrontation that lasted approximately 23 minutes, occurred around 8 o’clock: 00 in the morning , time in central Mexico, on the road section between the towns of Pijijiapan and Tonalá.
After the confrontation where several injured were reported , The elements of the National Guard got into their vehicles with great difficulties and withdrew from the area, while the migrant aggressors continued their advance towards Mexico City.
