Various publications on social networks report a shooting that allegedly took place in a resort in Cancun when gunmen stormed the Hyatt Riviera resort and forced American tourists to take refuge in their rooms.

Terrified guests took to social media to report that the shooting took place at the Hyatt Ziva Riviera Cancun resort in Cancun, Mexico.
Andrew Krop reported to the British newspaper The Sun: “My husband is an artist from the gay vacation group Vacaya.
