9-year-old girl manages to unlock her father's iPhone with her face to call 911 for help

Jayline Barbosa, a girl of just 9 years , saved her family after their parents were affected by carbon monoxide from a generator they used to pass the storm of Northeast in Brockton, Massachusetts .

It was 28 October. The girl was in bed when she heard her father’s cry and ran to look for him. He found his mother passed out, according to related to a CNN affiliate .

Marcelina Brandao, mother of the girl, He relates that they had gone three days without electricity and they borrowed a generator , which they used for a few minutes due to the noise it caused, but then they unplugged everything and stored it inside their house , although the authorities recommend having backup generators at least six meters away from doors, windows and vents.

The woman claims to have sense a little nausea before passing out ; when he woke up he was in an ambulance on his way to the hospital.

Authorities found the house full of carbon monoxide ; five people in total had to be hospitalized.

Jayline managed to ask for help by taking the his father’s phone , also affected. As the device was locked, the girl held it close to her father’s face to unlock it using facial recognition and then called 911. As the police arrived, she went out with her 7-year-old sister to ask a neighbor for help.
