A Boston student from 16 years was arrested after allegedly knocking her unconscious director of her faculty in a “very violent” assault during recess on Wednesday, according to a report.

Witnesses informed the police that the teenager hit Principal Patricia Lampron on the head and attacked another staff member on the upper campus of the Dr. William W. Henderson Inclusion School in Boston’s Dorchester neighborhood, WCVB-TV reported.

Before the assault, the student advised Lampron and the faculty worker to stop following her, according to witnesses.

“This incident is disturbing and completely unacceptable,” said the superintendent of Boston Public Schools, Brenda Cassellius, in a message to the university group that was obtained by the news outlet.

Cassellius said that the decision to cancel classes on Thursday was To exercise extreme caution.

“We want to be clear: violence of any kind is not tolerated and will not be tolerated in the Boston Public Schools”, Cassellius added.

Lampron was reportedly knocked out for several minutes before being hospitalized.

Officers described the assault as “very violent.”

The student was detained by a couple of faculty security officers before the police arrived.

The Boston Public Schools crisis team and other support staff will be available to students and teachers when they return to school on Friday.

“Our thoughts go out to Principal Lampron and the other staff member who was attacked. We support the plan to deploy additional counseling support to Henderson and will continue to advocate for more counseling staff in our schools on a daily basis. We are in an active dialogue with the Henderson School community regarding the incident and response, ”said Erik Berg, vice president of the Boston Teachers Union in a statement Thursday.
