Through a message on Twitter, Al-Sadd from Qatar and trained by the Spanish Xavi Hernández, responded to the demands of FC Barcelona in hiring the services of the former captain of the Blaugrana club.
With a current contract, Al-Sadd will not easily release his coach to take over FC Barcelona, something that seemed to be almost ready after some publications from the Spanish press, where the “Yes” to the coach position was confirmed for Xavi.
To assuage the rumors of the immediate departure of the coach, the club published in a tweet: “ In response to what is circulating recently, the Al Sadd reaffirms that Xavi has a two-year contract with the club and is fully focused on the team’s next matches, to maintain our leadership at the top of the league and defend the title . ”

The Qatari team spokesperson spoke
Ahmed Al Ansari, Al-Sadd spokesman, noted that “ There is no official offer from either party at the club table. Any club that has something professional is supposed to negotiate with the other party if it wants a player or coach who has a contract. “
In this way, the arrival of the former player FC Barcelona would have to wait a while or within the Catalan club look for another alternative to hire another coach in the midst of the crisis that the Blaugrana team is experiencing.
