The marriage between Angélica Rivera and the former president of Mexico, Enrique Peña Nieto , came to an end in 2019; but it still gives a lot to talk about because it was recently revealed that the actress was really in love with him, a version that arises after rumors circulated about an alleged marriage contract for political purposes.
Everything happened on the Telemundo program ‘Suelta la Sopa’, where Chantal Adere confirmed during an interview with Luis Alfonso Borrego that he maintains a close friendship with “La Gaviota”, which emerged more than 2 decades ago, so he does not agree with everything that has been said about her without actually saying know everything he lived.
“I have always tried to keep a line because it is very easy to speak, criticize and judge when you have not been there and you have not been around. However, at the end of said interview, the host and close friend of Angélica Rivera, Aylín Mujica , revealed that there was love between the former first lady and Enrique Peña, or at least from the actress.

And although he did not reveal more out of respect and loyalty towards what he considers his friend, Mujica reiterated that the protagonist of soap operas such as ‘Destilando Amor’ and ‘La Dueña’, was very in love.

Angélica Rivera and Enrique Peña Nieto divorced after almost ten years of marriage, but after their separation it became known that said union was an agreement between both promoted by Televisa, since the Mexican politician would have been given a choice in a catalog of actresses and chose the former producer José Alberto Castro.
Said version was exposed by the journalist Sanjuana Martínez in her book “I am the owner” in which she anticipated that the marriage was e negotiated and his agreement would end when Peña Nieto left the presidency.
