Florida is complying with the governor’s threat Ron DeSantis suing the Biden administration by the federal order which requires that employees of contractors vaccinated against Covid – 27 , arguing that the federal government lacks the authority to enforce the order.
DeSantis , who has been fighting the requirements of vaccines issued by private companies , said that “the federal government is exceeding its power.”
The Governor of Florida has called a special session of the State Legislature to prevent private companies from enacting the requirements of vaccines and Also to allow parents to choose not to follow the quarantine and mask mandates in schools.
“Just a few months ago, Joe Biden said that it would not be appropriate or legal for the federal government to order these COVID injections, ”said DeSantis this week in a statement. “But now we have somehow gone from 15 days to slow the spread to 3 hits to keep your job. The federal government is exceeding its power and it is important for us to take a stand because in Florida we believe these are options based on circumstances. ”
Florida argued in federal court that the statute that the Biden administration is using to meet the requirement of the vaccine , the Federal Law on Property and Administrative Services, does not authorize a step such as requiring vaccinations .
“Nothing in that statute authorizes such a radical intrusion into the personal autonomy of American workers, especially , as is the case here, when many of those workers are officials of a sovereign state ”, reads the lawsuit .
The lawsuit points to the occasions this year when the president Biden or the secret White House press officer Jen Psaki expressed the belief that the federal government does not have the authority to institute a blanket vaccination mandate.

Biden also announced last month that the Department of Labor will establish a rule requiring vaccinations or regular tests for employees in companies with at least 100 employees . The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has yet to publish that rule.
