They arrest the mother of abandoned children with a corpse; her boyfriend would be responsible for beating the boy to death

HOUSTON – A young man of 15 years who had been living with the corpse of his nine-year-old brother for almost a year could no longer bear the situation and called 911 for help this Sunday.

The call has unleashed a chain of events for the authorities, who are trying to determine the way the child died and what happened in that apartment for the last few months.

This Tuesday, one day after the mother of the young man and the other two minors who were abandoned in the apartment were questioned, she and her boyfriend were arrested by officers from the Harris County Sheriff’s Department.

The young man of 15 years was taking care of his younger siblings getting food from neighbors and protecting the terrible secret of his dead brother.

Sheriff Ed González reported that the young man called 911 this Sunday and said that his brother had died in one of the rooms several months ago.

The young man also said that his mother had not returned to the apartment for several months and that he was taking care of his brothers, who are 7 years old and 10 years.

This Tuesday the Medical Examiner’s Office reported that the 9-year-old boy’s death was a homicide and that the cause of death was caused by blows.

It has been reported that the mother and her boyfriend lived in an apartment located at 15 minutes from where the minors were abandoned.

The couple was arrested this Tuesday afternoon. Gloria Y. Williams, who is failed to provide medical care and for not providing adequate supervision, according to González.

Brian W. Coulter, from 31 years, he faces murder charges in connection with the boy’s death.
