Time change in Mexico: date and time of when winter time starts

Officially we are already in autumn and therefore, the time has come to make some modifications in our lives in order to welcome the winter season.

One of the modifications that we must make is the time change, that is, in the next few days we will say goodbye to the so-called summer time for give way to winter time.

In the United States, winter time will begin next Sunday, November 7, while in Mexico, the inhabitants of most of the country will make the modification 8 days before, that is, the new schedule will come into effect next Sunday 31 October.

This means that the days will seem shorter to us, since naturally there will be less light and the night will fall much sooner.

In Mexico, from 1996 the time change is made, both in summer as in winter.

Remember that in the winter time change what you should do is set the clock back one hour. It is recommended that you do it one night before going to sleep so that you can wake up with the new schedule.

Winter applies to practically all of Mexico, except the states of Sonora, Quintana Roo, as well as in the 33 municipalities of the northern border strip , since these entities are governed by the change of time in the United States, due to the economic, social and all kinds of activities that take place between both countries.
