Macabre Sunday in Houston: They discover human remains and three children abandoned in an apartment

HOUSTON – Harris County Sheriff’s Department officers responded to a crime scene where human remains and three abandoned children have been found in the west of the county, authorities reported Sunday.

Sheriff Ed González on his Twitter account announced that investigators are on the premises of an apartment complex located on the block 3500 from Green Crest Street near the intersection of Addicks Clodine and Westpark.

Details shared from the initial investigation indicate that the human remains of a minor have been found. Three minors were also discovered in the apartment, who were allegedly abandoned.

The ages of the minors who were found and their health conditions have not been disclosed
