50% of Latinos in California expect to launch a business in the next five years

In the United States live more than 50. 6 million Latinos who represent the 18. 6% of the population . It means that we are the second largest demographic group in the nation.

Under this premise, Latinos are also the group with the fastest demographic growth in the country during the last 10 years.

A survey by the Hispanic Wealth Project Survey points out that Latinos plan to create a business over the next 5 years .

Data shows that Latinos are the fastest growing group in the small business ecosystem . In contrast, we are also the group that has the greatest difficulties in obtaining initial capital to start a business , which that exposes us to greater financial risk.

The average age of Latinos is 29. 8 and are 8.6 years younger than the general U.S. population and nearly 14 years younger than non-Hispanic whites.

Statistics show that a higher educational level favors to increase household wealth . The 18. 8 percent of Latinos who have more than 25 years and have at least a bachelor’s degree, a situation that has increased by 70% since 2001.
