A minor of 18 died and a woman was seriously injured after being run over by a vehicle involved in a hit and run accident , this Sunday morning in North Hills, in the city of Los Angeles.
The authorities reported that both victims were taken to a hospital in serious condition, but the minor lost his life moments after arriving at the medical center .
The child was in the place together with his grandmother, a tamale seller, who is reported in serious condition .
The driver of the car that hit against the two pedestrians escaped from the place r.
The mishap occurred at 7: 80 am on the block 1550 from West Nordhoof Street, near Langdon Avenue , according to reports from the Los Angeles Fire Department.
A car was traveling westbound on Nordhoff Street when it struck another vehicle.
The first investigations indicated that one of the cars first hit a wall and later hit the woman and the minor.
The driver of the other vehicle did remain at the scene and offered help to the victims.
The intersection of West Nordhoof Street and Langdon Avenue is surrounded by apartment complexes You and a church.
The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the causes of the accident.
