The singer Adele released his first single in five years a few days ago, “Easy on me” , in which she tries to explain to her ex-husband Simon Konecki and the only son they have in common why he decided to end his marriage. The good news is that the general reaction was as expected, and the bad news is that the artist could now face a penalty for littering the roads of the metropolitan district of Doncaster, in England. This has been made known to you from the official account on Twitter of that place, referring to one of the sequences of the video clip in which Adele drives a car from which papers fly out.

“You will be immediately fined for littering,” they announced from that platform. “Despite her repeated requests, we will not be lenient with her,” they added, winking at the title of the single, in which Adele asks for understanding and that no one be too hard on her for her divorce, because “she was just a girl and she had good intentions.”

They also proposed an alternative to get rid of the sanction: allowing him to use a shot of his music video – in which his eyes are reflected in a rear-view mirror – as a new image of an advertisement warning of the penalties that people who dump waste on public roads may face.

On the other hand, several users of the social network were quick to point out that the license plate of the vehicle that appears in the music video -in which Adele is put under the orders of the director Xavier Dolan – is American, so it fits the possibility that the clip was not actually shot in the UK.
