HOUSTON – A man has been accused of having stabbed his parents to death inside a residence where the mother operated her psychic business, according to the Houston Police .
The tragic incident occurred this Tuesday night in the north of the city.
Nicki Costello, 35, is hospitalized with several injuries after having crashed in a vehicle while trying to flee the crime scene.
The Police identified the victims as Juanita Castillo, from 56 years, and David Morgan, 50 years. Both were stabbed several times in different parts of their bodies and died at the scene.
Officers responded to an emergency call and upon arriving at the scene at about 9: 30 pm They found the bodies of the victims inside the residence.
Officers heard some noises in one of the rooms and called the SWAT unit to investigate if the suspect was still at the scene.
While investigating the scene, a vehicle being driven by Costello crashed near the intersection of $ 5 North Highway and the Beltway 8 peripheral. Officers at the scene of the crash realized that it was the suspect who had allegedly committed the double murder. A witness told police that the son and parents were involved in a strong altercation.
The Police reported that they had already been called to that same residence in the past for a disturbance related to domestic violence.
The son, according to researchers, had one month of having moved to his parents’ house.
The mother operated her psychic business in the residence and the father owned a mechanical workshop, according to investigators.
The Police have not revealed a motive for the attack.
