The Alisal forest fire, which started this Monday afternoon, grew rapidly overnight and caused evacuation orders and the closure of a section of the Highway 101 in Santa Barbara County, south of Los Angeles.
The fire started at approximately 2: 30 pm near the Alisal reservoir, and more reports Recent reports indicate that it covers an approximate extent of 6, 000 acres .
It is reported that the incident is located northwest of Refugio Canyon, near the Highway 101 along the coast Gaviota.
The fire, which is attacked by 200 firefighters, poses a threat to more than 100 nearby structures.

There are immediate evacuation orders
Authorities issued orders for immediate evacuation for residents of Arroyo Hondo Canyon and Refugio Canyon, west of Goleta ; and an evacuation warning for the area between El Capitan Beach State Park and West Camino Cielo.
California is going through one of its worst seasons of forest fires that currently account for nine major conflagrations that are still active, to whose list the Alisal incendo could join if it cannot be contained quickly.
