When it comes to electric cars, Tesla has a privileged place in the sales of the sector in the United States.

The limits for Tesla always seem to blur. According to a recent report by the same company, cited in Reuters , its sales soared significantly during this last quarter beating any expert forecast. In the previous quarters, the company had posted very good numbers despite chip shortages, a problem that has been affecting the production of several companies such as Ford, one of the greats in the industry that also makes life together with Tesla in the United States.
According to data collected by Reuters, the company was able to deliver 241, 300 vehicles worldwide during this quarter, a number that translates into an increase of 73% compared to the previous year . Such deliveries were made between July and September and managed to position Tesla over other companies in the sector such as General Motors, which has been a leader in sales in the country since its inception and which had only been surpassed months before by Toyota, another company that, like Tesla, has managed to handle the problem in the supply chain very well .
For Tesla, This fact turns out to be very significant in the midst of what appears to be a losing streak, at least in terms of reputation : the company is being investigated by the National Traffic Safety Administration in the Highways (NHTSA) due to its semi-autonomous driving system. Apparently, this technology could be involved in several crashes of their cars against emergency vehicles , an issue that has been widely discussed in recent months and that has led other organizations to issue harsh statements in against the company for its insistence to sell the complete autonomy of this system that is barely found in level 2, according to the scale of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE).
Everything This dark outlook appears to have brought about some positive changes at Tesla . According to the latest reports, the company has been worrying about the safety of the driver, his passengers and people on the streets by implementing a camera inside the cabin to monitor the actions of the driver at all times and an emergency light detection system so that their cars can slow down at night if they encounter emergency vehicles and are operating on autopilot.
