One of the brothers of the Mexican boxer Saúl “Canelo” Álvarez left a the gloves and the ring to give way to politics in the mayor of a municipality of Jalisco .
It is about Gonzalo Álvarez Barragán , Canelo’s older brother, who will soon be will serve as mayor of Zapotlanejo, located in the metropolitan area of Guadalajara .

Álvarez Barragán, who is part of Morena’s party, was officially announced as mayor of the region , after two boxes were annulled due to some irregularities registered in the process.
Canelo has six brothers in total, and of them the majority took boxing as their profession, but so far the most prominent has been Saúl.
