Military and National Guard (GN) personnel were attacked by a group of residents of the municipality of Coalcomán, in the state of Michoacán in Mexico, events that led to an armed confrontation.
Neighbors recorded part of the events on video and shared it on social networks after the inhabitants of the area, allegedly related to drug trafficking groups, they began to throw stones and attack the soldiers and the National Guard with sticks in the vicinity of the special forces barracks in that municipality located in the area known as Tierra Caliente .

Federal forces attempted to contain the attack which sparked a confrontation as can see in videos posted on social networks.
To say of local authorities, pob ladores were forced by a criminal organization which was not named, to confront the Army and the National Guard, that Faced with this situation, more troops were deployed in the area.
The settlers even dropped homemade bombs at the facilities of the military operations center , in addition to throwing stones at them and grabbing them with sticks.
According to local reports law enforcement agencies Mexican women tried to dissuade the attackers with tear gas.
So far the authorities have not mentioned if there were people injured in that place where dozens of families have been displaced by threats and criminal siege of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) and United Cartels (CU).
