More and more details are being revealed about “House of Dragon”, and now HBO Max shared that new talents will join the cast of the series based on the work by George RR Martin , “Fuego y Sangre”, which takes place 300 years before “Game of Thrones”.

The news was released by the entertainment platform through a statement to the Hollywood Reporter portal , where it was confirmed that eight characters will make their big debut in the first season of the long-awaited series.

In addition to sharing the characters, it was uncovered who will be the actors who will give life to the individuals who join n to the project: Ryan Corr as Ser Harwin “Breakbones” Strong, Jefferson Hall as Lord Jason Lannister and his twin brother Tyland Lannister, David Horovitch as Grand Maester Mellos and Graham McTavish as Ser Harrold Westerling.

Also added: Bill Paterson as Lord Lyman Beesbury, Gavin Spokes as Lord Lyonel Strong and Matthew Needham as Larys Strong.

What plot will “House of Dragon” follow?

The story will unfold 300 years before the events narrated in “Game of Thrones”, so it will show how the collapse of the House of Targaryen began. Specifically, it will tell the story of Viserys, someone who has to take on a difficult challenge when he is chosen by the lords of Westeros to occupy the position on the throne of his grandfather Jaehaerys Targaryen.

Although there is still no stipulated release date due to the delay in recordings due to the pandemic, HBO commented that hope to release ‘House of the Dragon’ in 2022.
