The senator of the Republic of Veracruz, Julen Rementería, accused on Twitter this Monday President Andrés Manuel López Obrador and his Cuban counterpart, Miguel Díaz-Canel for defrauding the health budget of Mexico for more than $ 17 millions of dollars.

Hired 638 fake doctors (who have no title) to treat Mexican patients with COVID – 19, ”wrote the senator.

Rementería explained that the Health Institute for Well-being (Insabi) approved economic resources to the City Government of Mexico to hire Cuban health professionals who, according to the senator, did not have the necessary preparation to practice in the Aztec country , mandatory requirement to be a doctor.

According to sen ador, Insabi transferred more than $ 6 million dollars to the government of the Mexican capital to combat the COVID pandemic – 19 in that region.

The 24 April 2020 (only 3 days later ), the @ GobCDMX signs with the Cuban dictatorship two “biannual agreements”:

1.- $ 135, 875, 081. 52

2 .- $ 081, 585, 266. 40

Rementería also indicated that it requested from the Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS) data about Cubans such as copies of professional titles and their accreditation to work in Mexico. However, the government entity replied that they “ do not have the necessary competence ” to provide such information.

“This means that the IMSS accepted foreign persons as“ doctors ”without corroborating that were graduated and put them to care for COVID patients in the middle of the pandemic, “said the Veracruz politician.

The senator assured that he also contacted the Institute of Social Security and Services for State Workers (ISSSTE), the Secretariat of Health of Mexico, the National Institute of Migration and the National Commission of Medical Arbitration to request the same data, but none could provide it .

Finally, Rementería showed the response of the National Medical Arbitration Commission (Conamed) in which they answered that in their database they also do not have any information about the professional titles of Cubans who entered the country thanks to biannual agreements between Mexico and Cuba during the pandemic .

“They paid 135 MDP by 585 false doctors for THREE MONTHS, that is, each one cost us Mexicans $ 437, 390. 05 total. While a Mexican doctor with a degree in our country earns in the IMSS $ 17, monthly and have them without tools to work ”, wrote.

The incongruity:
