Houston Police Who Attacked Capitol Building Jan. 6 Pleads Guilty; regretful admits that Biden won clean

HOUSTON – Tam Pham, a former Houston Police Officer, pleaded guilty to his involvement in the riot on the Capitol of the United States on January 6, 2021 , and according to his attorney, he is sorry, sad and convinced that Joe Biden won the presidency legitimately.

Authorities reported that Pham faces federal charges related to the assault on the headquarters of the Congress after a rally led by then-President Donald Trump.

According to attorney Nicole DeBorde, Pham “is deeply saddened to be associated with the domestic terrorists who attacked the Capitol on January 6.”

It added that the former officer “strongly believes in the laws and that President Biden was chosen in a fair and free election.”

At that time, the Houston Police Department officer was part of the violent riots that took place in the United States Capitol and when his participation was made known by the FBI, Pham resigned from his position, according to the Chief of Police, Art Acevedo.

Pham, 48 years, worked with the department for 18 years old and was assigned to the patrol division at Westside Station. At the time of his arrest, the Houston Police Chief was Art Acevedo, who stated that “it was embarrassing” to see that a police officer from his department had participated in the riots .

Pham was identified by sources as the officer who traveled to Washington on January 6 and entered the Capitol during the session being held in Congress to confirm President-elect Joe Biden as the winner of the presidency.
