Hispanic teenager died in accident caused by 17-year-old driver allegedly drunk in Fresno

A Hispanic teenager from 15 years died in an accident when the driver of the vehicle in which he was traveling hit a tree l, this Monday morning in north Fresno.
Lilyana Romero, who was a few days away from celebrating his birthday number 16 , was traveling in the car along with six other students from Fresno.
Fresno Police Reports They indicated that at 1 am this Monday, a Honda Civic traveling down Barstow Avenue had crashed near 4th. Street

The driver, of 17 years and presumably under the effects of alcohol , he deviated his trajectory to the right and hit a tree.
After the accident, two young people, including the driver, fled the scene, while the other five passengers remained motionless in the back seat .
Two more adolescents, in critical condition
When the emergency services arrived, they confirmed the death of one of them, while the other four were transferred to the Fresno Community Hospital (CRMC).
Some reports mentioned that one of the wounded had spinal injuries and were paralyzed in the lower extremities . Another of the injured adolescents was in critical condition with a brain hemorrhage.
The young man who driving the car was identified and later arrested by the authorities . He was admitted to the Fresno County Juvenile Justice Center charged with vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.
All 7 occupants of the car were reported to be students of Fresno Unified School District schools.
