Controversy of Kimberly Flores gives 'La Casa de los Famosos' its highest rating and beats Univision

Telemundo’s stellar reality show, “ La Casa de los Famosos has given much to talk about in the last weeks. But the biggest controversy around the program has been around Kimberly Flores and her husband Edwin Luna .

Kimberly had been one of the participants of the show until a few days ago since unexpectedly left the program after the visit of his husband. And it is that Luna revealed to his wife that things were very strong outside and that one of his children even were being bullied at school because of what her mom was doing on the show. Kimberly was linked with her partner Roberto Romano after there were flirtations between the two.

Alicia Machado on several occasions called Kimberly’s attention to think things over since she is a married woman and that looked bad, in her opinion.

All the controversy generated by Kimberly’s departure has benefited the Telemundo show . On Monday 13 September had its highest rating mark when the meeting between her and her husband was broadcast. That same day, show host Héctor Sandarti announced that Kimberly and Edwin would be present on set on Tuesday.

However, the arrival of Kimberly and Edwin never happened due to mishaps of their flight. They appeared by video call and another interview was conducted. All this gossip helped Telemundo to raise the ratings again and on Tuesday to beat their own record.

“La Casa de los Famosos” had its best audience on Tuesday reaching 1.2 million in total . The average of two hours of the program could match the audience of the Univision telenovela “¿Qué le Pasa a Mi Familia?” but it was a little lower than “Diseñando Tu Amor” that scored 1.4 million.

The great triumph was that in the adult segment between 18 and 49 years old, “La Casa de los Famosos” achieved a great victory by beating “What’s Happening to My Family?” of Univision marking 511 thousand in the demo against 500 thousand. “Diseñando Tu Amor”, which competes with the second hour of the reality show, achieved 584 thousand in the demo.

The news is good for Telemundo and shows that there is a public awaiting what happens in “La Casa de los Famosos” and they will have to continue putting celebrities to the test to maintain the audience.

“La Casa de los Famosos” is broadcast 24 / 7 on Telemundo.com and Monday through Friday at 7 pm/6c on Telemundo .
