An earthquake of magnitude 3.0 on the Richter scale shook the city of San Fernando, north of Los Angeles, on Tuesday, according to reported the United States Geological Survey (USGS)
The earthquake was registered at 5: 57 pm 1.4 kilometers from San Fernando , 2km from Sylmar and 3.7km from Pacoima, according to the government entity.
The USGS also reported that the depth of the earthquake was 6.1 kilometers .
Until now, the local authorities have not reported any damage or further information .
