This Monday 26 People were injured after an explosion that caused a roof to collapse at the Seminole Casino Classic in South Florida. The incident occurred while several workers were performing maintenance work on the structure’s fire suppression system.
None of the people suffered serious injuries, although some were admitted to a hospital near the betting center.
According to the Local channel 10, six people were taken to hospitals near the casino of the Seminole tribe, located in the city of Hollywood, near Miami.
Gary Bitner, a casino spokesman, indicated that the gaming room was evacuated. So far there is no official version that clearly explains what happened so that part of the roof of the casino’s bingo hall collapsed. However, Bitner assured The Associated Press that a failure in the suppression system caused several non-flammable gas tanks will be emptied at the same time.
