Gonzalo García Vivanco returns to melodramas after his participation in titles such as “El Dragón” and “ Cradle of Wolves ”. The actor is part of the cast of “ La Desalmada ” and will give life to an endearing character with the which viewers may fall in love with.
Vivanco’s character is called Rigoberto Murillo and he works as a laborer at Hacienda El Primor. He is strong, muscular and sensual, but uneducated and elemental. He is the son of Carmelo ( Alberto Estrella ) and a childhood friend of Rafael ( José Ron ).
He is passionate, proud and resentful of his position as a pawn. He envies Rafael’s fortune, not because he wants money for himself, but because he needs it to keep Isabela ( Kimberly Dos Ramos ), whom he loves madly. He is naive and has always believed in the youthful promise that she made to him: that when he returned to Ichámal, after studying, they would both be together again. Love for Isabela is her great weakness. Angela ( Laura Carmine ) convinces him to study and improve himself, but his obsession with Isabela will bring fatal consequences.
