Will Smith plays the father of sisters Venus and Serena Williams in “King Richard”, Warner Bros film . directed by Latino Reinaldo Marcus Green and released his first trailer this Wednesday.
The actor nominated for best actor for “Ali” (2001) and “The Pursuit of Happyness” (2006) gets here in the shoes of Richard Williams , who from Compton, one of the most dangerous neighborhoods in Los Angeles (USA), led his daughters to the top of world tennis.
The trailer gives some touches of the difficulties the Williamses faced, from racism to machismo, and how their father completely turned their heads to become racket stars.
