In Turkey, soap operas are broadcast weekly and each episode has a duration of about 2 and a half hours. “The Ambassador’s Daughter” consisted of two seasons and had 52 produced chapters, which would be more than 150 one hour chapters.
However, the actress Neslihan Atagül left the soap opera in the middle of the recordings due to health problems . The production could not give him time to have complete rest and Neslihan left the project. When the absolute protagonist of the telenovela comes out, the production makes a sudden change and completely changes the sense of the story.
Tuba Büyüküstün enters as Neslihan’s replacement in another character drawn from the writers’ imagination.
All of this happened within the second season but Univision is taking advantage of this radical change to end Nare’s story and call it “end of season”. That is why the promos are on the air announcing the end of the second season which will be on Friday 20 of August. The schedule will be occupied by “La Desalmada” from 23 August at 07 pm / 9c.
Univision has not yet confirmed when it would premiere the last part of “La Hija del Embajador” that they will promote as the third season, although in reality it is the continuation of the second season.
