Despite the “SUV fashion” , Hyundai continues with its commitment to MPV ( Multi-Purpose Vehicle) or multipurpose, and the Custo is no exception.
The particularity of this model intended for China is that it takes as a starting point the design of the Tucson SUV.
Under the hood, you could add a 1.5-liter turbo powerplant that would deliver about 165 horsepower together with an 8-position automatic transmission.
In turn, the Hyundai Custo would join another minivan recently presented by the South Korean firm, the Staria .
The latter, is shown as another versatile product with capacity up to 11 passengers, although you can choose between different seating configurations between 7 or 9 seats.
Beyond that both differ in their measurements. On the one hand, the Staria exceeds 5 meters in length while the Custo reaches about 4, 95. Its width is 1, 85 meters and its height does not exceed 1, 73 meters.
Regarding the design itself, the front sector sports that particular and distinctive Tucson-like grille. The trapezoidal wheel arches also copy their aesthetics in a certain way.
The sliding doors of this type of vehicle are what allow a notable difference with its brother SUV.
On Behind, we find some headlights framed with angular lines. The only coincidence is the top light line.
The Hyundai Custo hastens its launch that could take place next October.
