Mexico continues to reap achievements in the Tokyo Olympics 2020 . The Aztec team stood out for Latin America and won the first medal for this territory . But that did not stop there. Alejandra Orozco and Gabriela Agúndez won another bronze medal for their country in the jump from the springboard of 10 meters.

The Mexicans managed to beat their closest rivals. Their acrobatics were very well executed and outperformed the Japanese and Canadian . However, the winners of the test were the representatives of China, Chen and Zhang . On the other hand, the silver medal of the North Americans Parratto and Schenell.

In the final round, the Mexicans managed to reach third place after flirting throughout the competition with the first five places. In the last participation they acquired a score of 299. 70 , only below the 310. 80 of the Americans and the 310. 78 of Asian women.

In this sense, Mexico added its second medal at the Tokyo Olympics . Both medals have been bronze. The first was achieved by Alejandra Valencia and Luis Álvarez in mixed archery , just starting the Games.
