Shot to death a homeless woman in Houston; He assured that it was in self-defense but a video shows otherwise

HOUSTON – A woman was arrested by authorities after shot to death a homeless woman outside of a supermarket located in North Harris County this Sunday.

To Fesus, from 34 years, was charged with murder .

Harris County Sheriff’s Office officers said Fesus shot a woman who approached him in a parking lot.

The victim was identified as Deandra Citizen was shot once outside the Food Town store located in the 550 of FM street 1960 almost corner with Ella .

Witnesses told investigators that the woman walked in the direction of Citizen and that the Suspect pulled out a pistol to shoot him.

Officers said that when they arrived at the scene they found Citizen in the parking lot with a bullet impact.

A witness attempted to resuscitate Citizen, but EMS was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officers said they received a call from Fesus saying that while she was walking her dog she was attacked by Citizen. Witnesses at the scene contradicted Fesus’s account and surveillance video that captured the moment of the shooting shows that the victim did not aggressively approach Fesus.

Sheriff Ed González said that in the video the victim never gets dangerously close to Fesus. The suspect was arrested at the scene and charged with murder.
