Tokyo 2020: athlete from Russia fainted during an archery competition at the Olympics

The Tokyo Olympic Games 2020 began with a spectacular opening ceremony at the Olympic Stadium . Athletes already have the green light to start putting on a show. However, another component that has this event are the incidents and the first one has already happened , but luckily without gravity. The archer Russian , Svetlana Gomboeva, fainted in full competition for weather conditions.

During the first qualifying round, Gomboeva from 23 years old , had to be cared for by the organization’s medical staff and their team. During the test there was a temperature of 30 degrees centigrade and a humidity of 60% . The goalkeeper collapsed after she reviewed her final score.

The incident was portrayed by photographers who were covering the discipline. However, the Russian athlete was able to recover moments after she fell to the ground, but due to precautionary measures had to be removed on a stretcher . Reports indicate that Svetlana Gomboeva confessed that her incident was related to the humidity and the thermal sensation of the place.
