The restaurant chain Taco Bell reported that these days its menu will be limited and warned that it will not be able to please its customers due to the “National shortage” of ingredients that is affecting the supply of the restaurant.

Sorry if we can’t feed your current craving. Due to nationwide ingredient shortages and delivery delays, some products may not be available.

It is the apology that appears at the top of your web page in an orange statement. After this apology, customers who are adept at the food “Tex Me” x leading in the United States took to social networks to express their frustration with respect to the limited menu currently offered by the restaurant chain.

Apparently, the missing ingredients include: tortillas, meat, chicken, hot sauce, among others. “It seems incredible that a restaurant where the main dish is with chicken or meat, has neither one nor the other”, a customer complained on social networks while another customer complained about the lack of vegetables, lettuce and tomato for their dishes.

A case similar to that of Taco Bell, happened with the Starbucks coffee specialist chain that has also announced to its clientele the lack of some ingredients.

At the moment, the shortage is affecting several states in the United States, but this will probably extend to other restaurants in Latin America where you are chains have a presence.

The shortage is mainly due to delays in the transport system due to climatic complications in Texas, for example, and the lack of drivers in the heavy transport that is occurring in the United States, plus the exits of shipments with retro are due to confinements.

In previous years Taco Bell had also had problems with the supply of ingredients and also at the time they offered apologies for the scarcity of some of their dishes on the menu. And in previous years, restaurants like KFC had such a chicken shortage that they even had to close their restaurants.

Taco Bell has about 7, 000 restaurants throughout the United States.

Recently, the chain of competition for these restaurants, Chipotle, also specializing in tacos and burritos, reported a shortage but of employees. Perhaps a consequence of the pandemic, which is why the Taco Bell transportation system has also failed.
