HOUSTON – A son discovered his mother shot to death inside the apartment where they live this Tuesday for early morning in North Houston.
The son called 911 around 12: 20 am this Tuesday from the apartment located at the intersection of Ella and Grand Point streets.
The young man from 16 years he was in his room when he heard a gunshot , according to the authorities. The teenager ran to his mother’s room and found her shot on the floor, but the shooter was not in the room.
Police believe the suspect fled in the victim’s vehicle.
Detectives reported that the suspect kicked the door to enter the apartment.
Investigators reported that they are in search of an ex-boyfriend who was in the life of the victim for several years.
Detectives said that the ex-boyfriend had not been around the victim for several months, but that in the past officers had to answer calls that were made from the apartment for issues of domestic violence between the couple.
The current boyfriend of the victim is not a suspect in the case, but the Police want to know where he is so they can talk to him.
“There are several people with whom we want to talk about the case and for now none of the men The res we are looking for have been located, ”said Sergeant Dennis Wolfford.
The Police have not released a description of the possible suspect.
This Tuesday morning officers discovered a vehicle submerged in a canal located near Ella Street, but not It has been confirmed if it is the victim’s vehicle.
