Football marred by racism . Germany and Honduras met in a friendly match towards Tokyo that did not end well at all: the Teutons alleged racist insults by their rival and decided to leave the field of play five minutes from the end.

The Federation Nacional Autónoma de Fútbol de Honduras (Fenafuth) published a statement referring to the fact in question, highlighting on more than one occasion the commitment in the fight against racial discrimination, as well as the diversity existing in the country.

Honduras will debut against Romania next Thursday 22 of July. For its part, Germany will do the same against Brazil, on the aforementioned date.
