The loss of water or antifreeze in the car is one of the most common faults, although very few people detect it before it is too late. When we notice this problem, the most sensible thing is to think that it is a leak in the system and it is completely valid, but many times the leaks do not appear and that is when the diagnosis is complicated. If either of them are missing or their level is steadily dropping faster than usual, perhaps we should consider the following:

In this case a more in-depth review will be required and if the problem is confirmed then it could involve a more expensive repair.

We must also make sure not to fill the water or antifreeze tank to the top . There is a correct level and ignoring it could be causing damage to the system.
Antifreeze plays an essential role in engine maintenance because it prevents formation of calcium and oxide and maintains its proper temperature, a role that water also fulfills when we add it to the same tank. Unlike gasoline, which can also be being consumed in a car without causing any damage , when a car works with a shortage or absence of antifreeze or water it is very likely that its engine will be seriously affected, since it runs the risk of reaching extreme temperatures.
