After postponing the fight due to a coronavirus outbreak in the team of Tyson Fury , this Thursday the new date for the trilogy match against Deontay Wilder.
The third fight, which was originally scheduled for the 24 of July, will be held next October 9 . The site will be the same, the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
The Covid Outbreak – 19 was registered just over a week ago when Fury was preparing the last details for the fight with the American.

This forced both the British boxer and his team to be preventively isolated under the care of several doctors.
Through his social networks the Fury himself reported the new date: “ All he wanted was to smash Wilder’s face on the 24, but I guess the beating will have to wait. Make no mistake, I’ll be back better than ever. We will fight on October 9 and I will knock him out. ”

Other factor a highlight, and that also motivated the postponement of the event was the few sales at the box office , a fact that was affirmed by Matchroom Boxing head honcho Eddie Hearn.
