Hyundai Elantra N 2022: the brand revealed the new expected model

Hyundai fully revealed the new Elantra N 2022 on the day from yesterday. This sedan, promised since last month through a brief statement and some referential images, represents the new generation of this family that saw the light at the beginning of the decade of the 90, with the creation of the first Elantra. This new installment, however, is a tribute to versatility: based on the model 2022, it combines the practicality of a small car with the sportiness of a race car. To achieve this, the brand made some small improvements in the exterior appearance with the intention of making it look much lower than its predecessor, also much more aggressive. This slight change is completed by 19 inch wheels fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. and high-friction brakes with state-of-the-art cooling system, to give the driver greater control of the car at high speeds.

Regarding the energy that drives the Elantra N 2022, Thomas Schemera, Executive Vice President and Head of Customer Experience Division at Hyundai Motor Company, stated: “The combination of hydrogen and energy from the battery could open up very interesting future options for Hyundai in motorsports and beyond Hydrogen can be used as a range extender or a power amplifier. We have the technology available and I am pretty sure that we will make this happen. “

The new Elantra N has a turbo engine, capable of generating 276 horsepower . It operates with a six-speed manual transmission or an automatic transmission, depending on the customer’s choice. It can reach a maximum speed of 155 mph (155 approximately kph) and offer 10 additional horsepower under “N Grin Shift” mode, as The Drive mentions. This new model has a rear spoiler and some lateral details in the design of its structure, which underline its aerodynamic capacity. Hyundai has arranged other sporty nods in addition to the low chassis: double exhaust and black-edged rear bumper in contrast to the red side, rear and front edges that accompany its sky blue color.
