The footballer is considered a jewel within the Los Angeles team, in fact, the club’s sports director praised the promising future of Álvarez. “Efraín is a young talent, he is the future of Los Angeles and the Mexican National Team.

On the other hand, the Chivas are not going through a good moment in the economic sphere. In this sense, they have not been able to sign any soccer player and for now, only players from the basic forces have been promoted to the first team.

Despite this, the soccer player who is playing the Gold Cup with the Mexico national team has declared that he likes the idea of playing for Chivas. In an interview he offered to TV Azteca, he confessed that Liga MX caught his attention and recalled that his father played in Chivas.

“My father played in Chivas in the days of Chicharito’s father, then he came with my mother to the American dream and played until the Sub – 20 in Chivas . He came to a team in Los Angeles and that’s when I started to fall in love with soccer. One day if I have to play, I want to go and see what soccer is like there in Mexico, the Liga MX catches my attention and the club that offers itself, we are going to see, “said Álvarez.

. . ) Maybe his dream will come true and he will end up playing with Chivas, but it won’t be now. Their paths will be temporarily separated and for now, Álvarez will have to focus on defending the LA Galaxy colors.
