The Major League Baseball Home Run Derby will be on Monday in Denver, but Los Angeles Dodgers went ahead and orchestrated their own home run festival Saturday by massacring the Arizona Diamondbacks with beating from 22-1.
This is the highest number of runs scored by the Dodgers in their stadium, where they began to play in 1962. The team had lost four of their previous five games, but they retaliated on Saturday.
There were a total of eight Dodgers home runs, including grand slams by Justin Turner -the first of his career- and Mookie Betts . Turner had been called up a few hours before to the All-Star Game next Tuesday, so it was a good day for the redhead.

Is the First time in Major League history that two players from the same team hit bases loaded home runs in the same game twice in the same campaign, as AJ Pollock and Matt Beaty had achieved it on May 2 in Milwaukee.

Pollock, by the way, blew up the fence twice on Saturday, the same as the legendary Albert Pujols . “Uncle Albert” is having days full of joy since he joined the champions of the world.

Cody Bellinger and Zack McKinstry also homered.
Walker Buehler was the great beneficiary of the offensive explosion to improve to a 9-1 record with 6 scoreless innings and only 3 hits.
