After so much controversy about the incorporation of Rogelio Funes Mori to the Mexican soccer team , the naturalized striker took just 3 and a half minutes to score a goal with the Mexico shirt. Saturday night against Nigeria at the Memorial Coliseum in Los Angeles.
The Argentine-born striker who has tired of shaking the nets in Liga MX with Rayados de Monterrey, took advantage of a triangulation between Jesús “Tecatito” Corona, Hirving “Chucky” Lozano and him to push left-handed near the Nigerian goal.

Funes Mori was in good position at the time of the pass of “Chucky” to be in line with a Nigerian defender.
