Mario Cázares lost his undefeated in a creepy way. The boxer from Sinaloa was knocked out by the power of the Cuban David Morell Jr.’s blows, who sent him straight to the hospital

The Cuban David Morrell Jr. (5-0, 4 KO’s) proved all his power and left Mario Cázares (12 – 1.5 KO’s), well-known fighter Mexican who at the time claimed to have defeated Saúl “Canelo” Álvarez in an amateur fight and who also defeated Julio César Chávez Jr. last year. Subtracting little more than 30 seconds to the end of the round, Morrell Jr. landed two consecutive left-footed shots that sent Cázares to the canvas, who spent a few seconds practically beside himself until he reacted on instinct and was taken by the referee.

The Mexican accused the blows he received behind the head, of which he his team complained. The famous “rabbit blow”. The image in which Cázares is seen with a cervical collar, while being transferred to the medical center, went viral.
Mario Cázares suffered a concussion. The journalist Bernardo Pilatti pointed out that the Cázares team will demand the disqualification of Morell for the aforementioned blows.
In an interview for Fino Boxing, the Sinaloan assured that he does not remember anything after receiving the second illegal blow, confirming that he suffered a concussion. The doctors recommended rest for days.
