The FBI responded to the scene after the pilot of the United plane operated by SkyWest reported the incident; the passenger first wanted to open the cockpit

In a new episode of runaway passengers on airplanes During the pandemic, a man literally jumped from a United Express ship preparing to take off from the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) .
The incident occurred on Friday night when the individual opened one of the doors of the plane operated by SkyWest Airlines and fell to the pavement between the starting gate and the runway, which is known in English as a “taxiway”. The flight 5365 was heading to Salt Lake City.
Due to the seriousness of the incident, which is believed to have caused terror in the rest of the passengers who may have thought that something terrible was going to happen on the plane , FBI agents responded to the scene, as well as firefighters.
ABC7 indicated that the FBI said the passenger first tried to open the cockpit door and then exited through an emergency door . Aerial images showed the ship already parked with the emergency ramp deployed.

Other Recent Airplane Passenger Incidents in Southern California
Just in March, a flight to Los Angeles had to be diverted because a shirtless man tried to open a door on Spirit’s plane .
In June, a man was detained by crew and passengers on a flight from Los Angeles because in mid-flight he tried to force open the cockpit door.
In May, a female passenger violently struck a flight attendant inside a Southwest flight in San Diego following a dispute over the use of face masks.
The circumstances of the man’s fall at LAX are unknown, but he had to be transported to a local hospital for injuries after being arrested. The FAA said there had been an altercation before the man opened the door, according to CNN .
The captain of the flight from LAX requested support from the Police
Audio was later revealed in which the pilot was heard asking for police support at the time of the incident.
“Charlie 4, Charlie, could you please call the Police because we are going to return to the exit door,” said the pilot to the tower of control.
“It seems like they also inflated one of our (emergency) ramps on the right side… We could have had a passenger who was a threat and jumped from the aircraft “.
Just one day before there was an incident at LAX in which a vehicle entered the airport and was pursued by the police before crashing into a fence. And on award day there was a very localized earthquake near the airport itself , in a bumpy week.
