$ 16,000 tip: a generous customer sent himself after buying some hotdogs
A customer left a tip of $ 16, 04 dollars at a New Hampshire restaurant after ordering two hot dogs and some drinks worth $ 37. 93 dollars to earlier this month.
The customer, who was not identified, added the generous tip to her order of two chili hot dogs, fries and a few cocktails last year 12 of June at the Stumble Inn Bar and Grill in Londonderry, about 50 miles southeast of Concord, as reported by NBC Boston.

The restaurant’s owner, Mike Zarella, said he initially thought he had misread the receipt and that it was all a typo. According to staff members, the mysterious and friendly customer assured them that it was not a joke.

That night the members of the restaurant shared the tip equally to the eight waiters who worked that night and decided to extend the gift to the cooks.
McCudden said that all the staff were grateful for the customer’s kindness, especially after the pandemic forced more than 110, 000 restaurants and bars to close their doors last year .
