HOUSTON – After it was announced Thursday that a second person faces charges for the murder of Samuel Olson, a five-year-old boy who was found dead in a hotel , it was reported that the Police have possibly found the weapon that was used to kill the child.

Authorities say Theresa Balboa’s roommate, the other person facing charges in the case, helped Balboa hide the body of the five-year-old boy.
The victim was the son of Balboa’s boyfriend.
The authorities have reported that Rivera has been cooperating with investigators, but his version of what happened is in the process of being verified with the evidence acquired.
Prosecutors in the case said they believe they found the weapon that was used to kill Olson, but did not provide further details . Additional evidence was reported to be necessary to determine if it was used in the murder.
According to the accusation against Balboa, it is suspected that the body found in the hotel belonged to the minor , who was missing from the past 30 of April.
According to a testimony given by Balboa’s roommate the 10 last May, he saw the corpse of a child inside the apartment. The body had bruises on its body.
