The Mexican Football Federation continues to suffer the consequences of homophobic screams by his fans, however, this time the FIFA has not forgiven and they sanctioned the Federation.

In this sense, the team must play their next two home games at door closed. All this from the fact that in the past Concacaf Pre-Olympic the stands will shout homophobic insults against the rival archers in one voice. The scream was presented more recently in the final of the Nations League against the United States.

Despite the fact that FIFA has already issued the sanction, it is still unknown in which games the veto must be fulfilled. Most likely, these will be in the Eliminatory or in the next Gold Cup.

The bad news does not end there. In case of continuing the chants towards the rival goalkeepers, the sanction could be aggravated, being able to take points away from the selection Mexican in the Qualifiers, compromising their classification towards the next World Cup in Qatar.

In addition to the veto in the next two matches of El Tri, the FIFA Disciplinary Committee imposed a fine of 60 thousand Swiss francs, which is approximately equivalent to 60, 000 Dollars.

In the event that finally the matches that are played behind closed doors are those of the Qualifiers, Mexico will not have an audience against Jamaica, a match that will be played on September 2, and Canada, which will be played on October 7.
