Wanted for “person of interest” for newborn abandonment in Lynwood public toilet trash can

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD) published this Wednesday a sketch of a person they want to interview by the A newborn baby was abandoned last week in Lynwood .

A passerby rescued the baby from a garbage can in the public women’s restroom in Yvonne Burke-John D. Ham Park in the aforementioned Los Angeles county city around eight in the morning on Friday, according to a press release from the sheriff’s office. The baby was transferred to a hospital in the area and, according to the latest information made public, is in stable condition .

It is believed that the newborn was one or two days old when he was found abandoned, although the sheriff’s statement also explains that he could have been born earlier on the same Friday.

The authorities still have not been able to identify the child or his parents .
