“ I just released 80 inputs and you told me I can’t use anything (…) I have to change everything. I really believe, at 100%, that’s why I got hurt . I’m frustrated that MLB doesn’t get it. You can’t just tell us not to wear anything, is insane , ”Glasnow said at a press conference after the announcement of his injury.
Glasnow currently suffers from an injury to his right arm that possibly leads him to undergo surgery . Given this situation, the Tampa pitcher considers that the incident was generated by MLB as a result of the measures against the pitchers when trying to eradicate all kinds of substances that “improve the grip of the ball”.
On the other hand, the pitcher criticized the moment in the season in which this decision is made since it considers at this stage of the tournament the conditions are not given for such a drastic change.
“ Do it in low season (remove all substances). Give us the opportunity to adapt . Now you tell me that I can’t wear anything in the middle of the year. I have to change everything that I have been doing during the season. ”, emphasized the Tampa player.
